KERALA DISTRICTS:
The fascinating land of Kerala comprises of 14 districts,
which figure as the leading revenue earners of India. The
districts are sub-divided into ‘taluks’ and villages.
Each district has a head quarter where the administrative
system functions. Taking into account geographical, historical
and cultural similarities, the districts are generally grouped
as:
North Kerala
(Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram)
Central Kerala
(Kochi (Cochin), Palakkad, Thrissur, Idukki)
South Kerala
(Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha (Alleppey), Kovalam,
Pathanamthitta, Kottayam).

are as follows:
Kasargod
Tours
Kasargod is a place where you can rejuvenate yourself in the
magic of nature’s charms. The Kasargod district is replete
with natural splendor, refreshing air, mineral resources and
primordial foliage amidst the vast expanse of water and sky.
Wayand Tours
The green paradise of Wayanadis cuddled among the mountains
of the Western Ghats. It lies on the north eastern part of the
state of Kerala, at a distance of about 76 km. from the tranquil
palm-fringed seashores of Kozhikkode.
Kannur Tours
The old name ‘Cannanore’ is the anglicized form
of the Malayalam word ‘Kannur’. For administrative
convenience the district has been divided into three major geographical
territories i.e. highlands, midlands and lowlands.
Kozhikode

Kozhikode district is situated on the south west coastal strip
of India. Kozhikode is encircled by Kannur district on the north,
on the east by Wayanad district, on the south by Malappuram
district and on the west by the Arabian Sea.
Malappuram

leaders, this district has carved a niche of its own in the
history of Kerala. The Jama-at Mosque, Thali Temple, Perinthalmanna,
Nilambur, Tannur and Kottakkal are one of the major attractions
in Malappuram.

Cochin or Kochi, the vibrant city located at the south west
coast of the Indian peninsula kissing the seafront of the Arabian
Sea is truly a revitalizing treat to the eyes. It is the busiest
port south of Mumbai, as it lies on the direct route to Australia
and the Far East from Europe.
Thrissur

Presently the ‘cultural capital of Kerala', the city of
Thrissur proudly preserves the rich history, cultural heritage
and archaeological wealth that Kerala upholds.
Palakkad

Palghat or Palakkad is one of the fourteen revenue districts
of Kerala. Rich in flora and fauna, it is known as ‘the
land of palms and paddy fileds’. It is the chief granary
of Kerala often reffered to as the Gateway of Kerala.
Alappuzha

Alappuzha is a veritable maze of bridges and canals, which earns
it the appellation as the "Venice of the East".The
sparkling Alappuzha, famous for its boat races and beaches,
was founded by Raja keshawadasan, Divan of Travenacore in 1762.
Idukki Tours
Idukki has derived its name from the Malayalam word - 'Idukki'
meaning a narrow gorge. The population of this district comprises
mostly tribal people. Idukki is home to many hill stations,
which include Munnar, Peerumedu, and Mattupetty.
Kollam Tours
Kollam is a prime city of Kerala with several places of interests.
Kollam is enriched with temples, shrines, forts and churches,
and other historical ruins dating back to the era of the Potuguese
in India.
Kottayam

Thiruvananthapuram
